Chocolate Marshmallow Pudding
– 5 ½ oz of canned chocolate syrup.
– 3 cups of milk.
– ¼ cup of sugar.
– Dash of salt.
– 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour.
– 1 medium egg, well beaten.
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
Add the chocolate syrup to the milk and scald.
Mix together the sugar, salt, flour and beaten egg, with a little water to thin if necessary.
Pour about half of the scalded milk over the egg mixture, then return to pan and cook until the mixture just begins to boil.
Remove from the heat and add the vanilla.
Pour into a 1 ½ quart baking dish, then top with marshmallows and brown in a 400°F (205°C) oven.
